Welcome and First Poast

Hey!

So welcome to my book blog. I will be personalizing this blog soon (making my own header, etc), and posting content like reviews, and bookish things (or semi-bookish things, I tend to go off-topic a lot). I will be archiving a lot of my old reviews here as well.

Here is my rating system:

5 Stars: Omg this book is amazing. Fave and keeper for sure, if I own it. If it’s a library book or borrowed from a friend, I need to get my own copy.
4 Stars: Still really awesome, but not quite five star worthy. Most likely a keeper, or I need to get my own copy.
3 Stars: T’was okay. Might be a keeper or get my own copy. Depends on the book.
2 Stars: I hated it, and for a time, my lowest rating. Expect rage and snark, guaranteed.
1 Star: I detest this book. It’s so bad that it doesn’t even deserve a two stars rating. Expect rage and snark.
0 Stars: Usually for books I did not finish (DNF), though sometimes DNFs get rated one stars.

I also give 1/2 star ratings, for example 3.5 stars.

A bit about moi:

Name: Krystle
Age: 25  ( 4/14/1989)
Location: Southern California (currently).

I like to snark and read all kinds of books.
If I had to pick one book genre that I love it would be: horror.
I love reading trashy novels.
GLBT* books are a fave as well. Being a lesbian, seeing more Queer* books being published is a good thing. If it’s in the horror genre, even better.
I like to read pretty much everything. Put a book in front of me and I’ll read it.
I am a book goat, meaning that I will read almost anything once, and if I hate it, I snark it. If I love something, I will just squee.
I try not to bash authors in my reviews, but shit happens sometimes. I try to just snark the book. Author!wank usually amuses me, but it sometimes aggravates me depending on the situation.

I am currently not taking ARCs.
I love books, which should be obvious.
